Joie Jager, the self-taught designer and founder of Soixante Neuf, was born and is currently based in Los Angeles. She began designing as a teen and released her first collection, a bustier line embellished with hand-sewn semi-precious beads, at 18. Joie then studied acting at NYU, and rediscovered her love of jewelry design while passing time on a film set. Soixante Neuf has since expanded from LA boutiques to catching the notice of national publications such as WWD and InStyle.
